Summary
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join the Major Infrastructure Job
Duties and responsibilities
Liaising with the Commissioning manager and project engineers to produce and develop commissioning plans and provide technical support of testing and commissioning circuits.
Testing, Commissioning, and maintaining HV/LV Substations primary systems and primary plant.
Plan and carry out electrical testing and commissioning work in a safe manner, always adhering to health and safety procedures
Manage the interface between stakeholders and other contractors
Provide leadership and supervision / training junior Engineer.
Carry out onsite, pre and post energisation commissioning of substation equipment including transformers, tap-changers, switchgear, and protection relays to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards
Produce commissioning reports, test documentation and update drawings to as built status
Project a professional image to clients and colleagues
Contribute to the future success of projects and its clients
How to Apply
Experience skills and Qualifications
Must hold Electrical Engineering Degree / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent
Working knowledge of appropriate Indian and International Standards and Codes of Practice relevant to the HV Industry.
Minimum 3-5 year of testing experience
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule and budget requirements.
Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism & communication
